The Epilogue
Specimen Two: Ixion has finally come to the Epilogue.
Once again, reviews are greatly appreciated because it’s how I can learn and get better, but since so few people have the time to share their comments with me, I’ve added a poll as well.

I would have written like something longer in this post if I weren’t so tired. My internship just began today and… yeah, tiring.
Please leave a comment and your feedback =)

Toughest Chapter To Write
Every story I write has a particular chapter that is exceptionally difficult to write. For Specimen Two: Ixion, this was the chapter.

The One With That Singaporean Author
Allow me to state this for the record.
For future references, please if you don’t mind, do NOT ever say that I aspire to be like Low Kay Hwa.

Here’s the important bit:

Teachers have also voiced concerns over the quality of language and values imparted in Mr Low’s books.
Ms M Nur, 24, a primary school teacher, read two of Mr Low’s titles. She said the books had ‘amateurish language’, and compared the writing to ‘that of a Secondary 1 student’.
Ms Nur noted that ‘the choice of language is not suitable for schools, and there are expletives in the books’.
Asked if he’s concerned his books may affect the students’ standard of English, he said: ‘Frankly, I don’t feel responsible if they pick up such language.’

He is a self-published author who self-proclaimed himself as Singapore’s most prolific author, who self-proclaimed himself as Singapore’s Youngest Author, and who self-proclaimed himself as Singapore’s No. 1 Bestselling author.
Am I flaming this guy? Not up there, I’m just quoting stuff out of his websites and an online newsletter. Am I saying he’s a bad author? Not quite, since he’s definitely a lot more popular than me and has earned money from his works so who the hell am I to judge?
All I’m saying is that the guy appears - I stress on that particular word because his thinking might have changed since that interview - to have lost touch with the most basic sense of moral responsibility. While I respect that he is rather successful as a self-published author, he has many traits that I feel he could really do without.
In any case, I’m still going to find time to read his works – excerpts - since like I said before; if the guy has sold 20,000 copies of his works, then the guy is definitely doing something right.

The Not-So-Fantastic Fourth
Fourth final chapter.
Short.
But no double-special.
Not happy?
Tough luck.
Lol, I’m sorry, I did not mean that at all – just wanted to say something that mean for a long time =X Anyway, it’s the final five chapters so I really can’t afford anymore double-specials.

The Final Five
Haha, sounds like a phrase from the Battlestar: Galactica series but uh, yeah, we’re at the final 5 chapters before the Epilogue. No long speech right now since we’re not at the end so here you go~
