I just realized how this seemingly stupid website – oh come on, do I want to update you on what I’m doing every bloody minute? – can actually make receiving chapter updates much easier.

I absolutely refuse to say “Go twit me, guys!” because for some reason it sounds very vulgar and simply wrong to me.

Instead, I will ask you guys to follow me on twitter get updates on my blog. Every time I post up  a new chapter or write a new post, I’ll update my twitter which will in turn inform you.

I’ll try this out for about a month and see how many people actually follows me. I doubt there’ll be many since twitter is still fairly new – I believe? – in Singapore, so if by the end of the month there are like less than 10 people following me, it’s to hell with twitter again =)

Oh yes, I’ve decided to change this blogskin after I tried to read Specimen One: Mythias on the old skin. Turns out it was  bloody pain the neck. The words were freaking tiny and the background was simply too dark.

This skin is a lot brighter and there’s a lot more width so the paragraphs won’t get cramped up. And what I love most about this skin is that the background isn’t pure white. It’s kind of a little bit tinted - like a book - so it won’t be such a strain on your eyes.

Over the the past few days I’ve noted that several people have read through the entire story of Specimen One: Mythias, but did not comment.

That makes thing a little bit difficult for me.

You see on the one hand, I have to be nice and respect that it’s up to the reader if he or she wants to leave a comment. On the other hand, it is really, really, really frustrating to know that someone have read through a story you spent months working on – for free – and could not at the very least leave a comment as simple as “Good story, I enjoyed it =)” or “Story sucks. Please die.”

Acknowledgement.

Good or bad.

That’s all I need to know so please, if you’ve read my story, do me this one simple favour and just tell me whether or not you enjoyed it.

Chapter 14 – Saranghae

Saranghae, of course, means ‘I love you’ in Korean but you probably know that already.

Anyway, along with this update I’m going to put a face to all the names of the SNSD girls (7 out of 9 members here) that you’ve read in Specimen Two: Ixion. If you know them already, I doubt you’ll complain looking at these pictures again. If you don’t know them, well, here you go:

And in case I haven’t explain already, here’s a brief lowdown of why I’m a fan.

They are freaking beautiful – I’m lying if I say that’s not a reason. They have amazing voices that compliments one another. They can be freaking adorable too and at the same time they can be the dorkiest people you’ve ever met. But the two most important things are that:

They work hard.
- Spent a long time training without knowing if they’ll ever get to debut

They are passionate.
- By a long time I mean more than 5 bloody years

They made their dreams to be a singer a reality.

As a Singaporean who is trying to become a publish novelist of the Science-Fiction and Fantasy genre, my dream is really quite… out of reach, when you consider all factors. So as opposed to most other fans who simply enjoy their music… or looking at them -_- I’m a fan because they’re constantly there reminding me that dreams can become reality.

And it really helps a-bloody-lot in keeping me going chapter after chapter, draft after draft and story after story.

Hopefully one day I can add on and say book after book.
