The Very First One
The birth of a new blog marks the end of the old one, where constant whining and emo talk reigned free.
This blog will serve as not just an online journal for me, but also the ‘headquarters’ of all my written works. I will blog about my life, my day to day activities, any troubles I encounter and basically anything that I find worthy to share. As the first sentence has stated, I will not allow myself to do any emo blogging that involves me bitching about people that deserved to be bitched at.
Yes, I will use words like bitch and screw but not the F word.
I will do my best to be as entertaining as Derick-ly possible, but do understand that it will come hand in hand with lame puns such as the one you have just read. You can expect a wide variety of topics from my blog ranging from reviews to guides and writings to videos. The reviews will mostly be done on books and movies/tv shows while guides will most likely be for games. However, that’s just a rough guideline and it’s really ‘anything goes’ here.
What you should not expect though are photographs which teenagers would term as ‘camwhore pics’. During the genetic coding period of my development, there was a glitch when it came to the ‘Physical Appeal’ section and the glitch was one son of a gun. Self-taken photographs of myself, when viewed, will induce nausea, dizziness, optical nerve damage as well as cause severe, nightmarish hallucinations of me holding my fingers in the peace sign.
You have been warned.
Currently, the most important aspect of this blog is my upcoming romance/science-fiction, novella online series. I’ve spent a few months planning out just the outline of the plot already, and I am now satisfied enough to do this.
Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, I hereby announce the title of my upcoming online series:
Project M.I.G.H.T
That would sound so much cooler if I was announcing it through a video with a proud and mighty voice. Anyway, Project M.I.G.H.T consists of six stories in total, 5 individuals + 1 congregated, which is something you’ll understand soon enough after the second story is released.
Currently the closest ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) I can give you for the first story is soon, by the end of the year. If you just muttered a swear at me, well… I say the same to you. The reason why I’m not giving any specific date yet is because there will be a lot more ETAs that I have to give in the future, many of which might suffer delays if I give anything too specific. That is why I will employ this policy which I so shamelessly stole from Blizzard Inc.

Now to end things off, I have no intentions of making this blog into one as popular as Ice-Angel, Xiaxue, Jayden or whoever. If it does get popular, yay, if not then I am satisfied as long as I have at least one faithful reader. The sole intention of this blog is just to be an outlet for me to share, well, basically stuff that I find interesting. And one of which is all of my written works.
This is the first post and if I am successful in being entertaining, you should have reached this final paragraph without feeling bored. If you have skipped the entire wall of text above then firstly, shame on you, lazy person, and then secondly shame on me for failing terribly.
With that said, plus the fact that it’s 1:45am now and I want to watch Battlestar: Galactica before I go to bed, I shall end off my very first post – of which many more would follow.
